Meet Brian J. Mihok, D.O.
Experienced Ophthalmologist, Surgeon and Educator
Dr. Brian J. Mihok provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to patients throughout Dayton and the surrounding communities. Since establishing his independent practice in 2008, he has remained committed to experienced care, clear communication, and recommendations based on each patient’s individual needs.

A Thoughtful and Personal Approach to Eye Care
Dr. Mihok believes patients should understand what is happening with their vision and feel comfortable asking questions about their care.
During each visit, he carefully evaluates the patient’s condition, explains examination findings in understandable language, and discusses the available treatment options. His goal is to help each patient make informed decisions without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
As the physician and surgeon leading an independent practice, Dr. Mihok is able to focus on continuity, personal attention, and long-term relationships with the patients and families he serves.
Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology
Dr. Mihok evaluates and treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular conditions, eyelid concerns, and other medical eye problems.
When surgery, laser treatment, additional testing, or ongoing monitoring is recommended, he explains what is being recommended, why it may be helpful, and what the patient can expect before and after treatment.
